TU DELFT-2018,
Planning and Design with water
To enrich my experience further in the field of design, In 2018, I enrolled in the Summer course (Planning and design with water) at TU Delft, where I was accepted among 190 students to participate. Throughout summer school, I understood theories of spatial justice and social sustainability and how an inclusive and equitable future is for us to design.

Spatial Justice
My role was to come up with the Timeline for the community till 2050 and contribute in the details of the interventions.
For our final group project, we engaged with the local community of Scheveningen and took their interviews. It was essential to consider the local community’s restrictions and affordances posed by the existing urban fabric to propose people-driven solutions. We proposed a human-centered approach by adding pop-up shops on the beachfront to improve the local economy, extending tram lines for more accessibility, and introducing interactive floating green parks.
